Actikem attended the 2018 Chemical Industry (CIA) Awards on the 14th of June at the Hilton Hotel Gateshead, Newcastle. The event was attended by the management team which consisted of Andrew Mooney, Trevor Gleave, Audrey Mooney and Christine Gleave.

The night started with a drinks reception, followed by a lovely three course meal. The evening was rounded off with the awards presentation hosted by ITV anchor Sameena Ali-Khan. A great evening was had by all, and the event also offered some useful networking opportunities for Actikem.
Actikem were shortlisted for the ‘Chemical Industry Service Provider of the Year’ award, however we were up against some tough competition in this category, with all eight other shortlisted companies also being very strong. The Award (which was sponsored by CIEC) went to the Centre for Process Innovation in Redcar. Heartfelt congratulations to the CPI!

We will no doubt continue to find new ways to improve and grow as a company, so that we carry on being recognised and nominated for such prestigious awards. Hopefully next year we can go one step further and come out as winners!
